Point-of-care OCT system by Michelson Diagnostics

The VivoSight DX multibeam optical coherence tomography (OCT) system from Michelson Diagnostics (Maidstone, Kent, England) has use as a point-of-care tissue imaging system, providing a noninvasive view of the sub-surface of skin through high-definition images. Clinicians can obtain images of the epidermis, papillary dermis, and reticular dermis to make accurate, pain-free diagnoses in real time. The system, which is a lighter, more compact and mobile version of the company's VivoSight system, features a graphical user interface that streamlines the patient scan and image-assessment workflow.
