Multiphoton imaging system by Scientifica
The ChromoFlex multiphoton imaging system from Scientifica (Uckfield, East Sussex, England) enables simultaneous imaging of up to four different color dyes with the increased sensitivity of gallium arsenide phosphide (GaAsP) photomultiplier tubes (PMTs). A 2 m liquid light guide (LLG) allows placement of the system remotely on an anti-vibration table or other nearby surface. Applications include in vivo multiphoton imaging that requires more than two different dyes and cell morphology studies requiring multiple dyes to tag different cell types, subclasses, or cellular structures.
