The Vectra 3 quantitative pathology imaging system from PerkinElmer (Waltham, MA) offers seven-color multiplexing and visualization to enable deeper understanding of disease mechanisms related to new cancer immunotherapy approaches. The system visualizes, analyzes, quantifies, and phenotypes immune cells in situ in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections. It also incorporates 10x whole slide imaging and the company's Phenochart whole slide viewer, which allows researchers to annotate and navigate slides with interactive interfaces to better identify regions of interest for detailed multispectral acquisition.
