Fiber coupler from Coherent handles laser power levels of 12 kW
A fiber-to-fiber coupler enables the use of replaceable fiber-optic cables so that integral components of the fiber laser are not exposed to optomechanical damage in harsh industrial processes. It is an eye-safe, standalone, water-cooled photonic component that handles laser power levels of 12 kW. It allows coupling between fibers of different core diameters.
