Photon Kinetics fiber refractive index profiler has USB control interface
The S14 fiber refractive index profiler assesses waveguide structure and determines fiber geometric properties such as core and cladding diameter, concentricity, and noncircularity. RoHS-compliant and with a USB control interface, its standard software now calculates both mode field diameter and effective area of fibers, using the acquired refractive index profile data.
