Berlin, Germany--Corning (NYSE: GLW) has opened its Corning Technology Center Berlin, located in the Adlershof Science and Technology Park, to pursue faster innovation and engage in a mix of potential industrial, academic, and technology activities. The new center is home to Corning Cable Systems’ Germany-based members of the company’s global Technology organization.
The center is affiliated with the company’s global research and development network, including telecommunications technology groups around the world; the Corning Research Center, Taiwan, located at the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in HsinChu, Taiwan; the Corning Technology Center in Shizuoka, Japan; the Corning Science Center in St. Petersburg, Russia; the Corning European Technology Center located in Fontainebleau, France; and Sullivan Park, the company’s world headquarters for R&D in Corning, NY.
