August 1, 2008--Laser Photonics (Lake Mary, FL) completed its 65,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art laser application processing lab where clients and potential customers can send their product as samples to be processed by a specific laser system. This lab will eventually include over 20 laser systems and Laser Photonics will now be able to process customer samples within a week for applications in cutting, marking, and deep engraving using CO2 and fiber lasers with power levels up to 5 kW.

"This completion is a major step forward for Laser Photonics LLC in our goal to turn around our customer samples as quickly as possible. In the past, we have been constrained by limited space, but now we have the resources to exceed our customer's expectations," said Wayne Tupuola, VP of Operations. Sample processing is one of the most important steps in the sales process. Every sample can now be performed on the correct machine, videotaped, logged into the database, and sent back out.

The applications lab includes a brand new cleanroom solely for applications that need to be performed in special conditions.
