iLuma Photonics releases pulsed fiber laser

Oct. 16, 2013
The IFL-20P-LM-P laser provides peak output >35 kW in 500 ps pulses at 1060 nm.

A pulsed fiber laser, IFL-20P-LM-P, provides peak output >35 kW in 500 ps pulses at 1060 nm. It gives a flat 12–15 kW peak power output across 1–10 ns pulse durations, pulse energies >100 microjoule, and repetition rates from single-shot to 1 MHz. Average output power fluctuation is <5% between 12°C and 55°C.
