Technical University, VI Systems to nab SPIE Green Photonics Award

SPIE will award the Technical University of Berlin and VI Systems GmbH with the Green Photonics Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions toward the next generation of optical networks that will operate with increased bandwidth and reduced power consumption.

Berlin, Germany--SPIE will award the Technical University of Berlin and VI Systems GmbH with the Green Photonics Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions toward the next generation of optical networks that will operate with increased bandwidth and reduced power consumption. The pair will receive the award due to their contributions to Green Photonics in communications.

A part of the Green Photonics virtual symposium to be held in conjunction with the upcoming SPIE Photonics West show in San Francisco, CA, the Green Photonics Award will be presented on Wednesday, January 25, at the show's Plenary Event.
