The Smartsplicer glass processing and optical fiber splicing platform is designed for development and manufacturing of sensitive high-power laser, sensor, and telecommunication fiber components. It is based on a CO₂ laser for clean and contamination-free heating. Cameras and other sensors ensure that fibers and end-caps can be aligned automatically.
