The Combiner Manufacturing System provides tapering, cleaving, splicing, and end capping for a diverse range of optical fibers in one machine. It uses the company’s Thermally Stabilized Plasma technology to create an adjustable heat zone, allowing it to handle fibers from 50 μm to 2.5 mm in diameter. It includes software that ensures process repeatability.
