Fiber waveguide device from SRICO is designed for upconversion of 2000 nm lasers

Feb. 26, 2015
The device converts a broadband laser wavelength to a frequency-doubled signal centered at 1064 nm.

A waveguide device that integrates a periodically poled lithium niobate waveguide with input and output fibers, a thermoelectric cooler, and a robust metal package is designed for upconversion of 2000 nm lasers. It converts a broadband laser wavelength to a frequency-doubled signal centered at 1064 nm with very narrow linewidth.
