The Modular Camera Electronics (MCE-3) product family is capable of supporting all modern infrared focal-plane-array (FPA) detectors, including 1024 ¥ 1024-element formats. The MCE-3 products use programmable gate arrays, fiberoptic data transport, software-programmable controllers, distributed-frame processing, and an enhanced virtual-machine-environment system architecture. Synchronized telescope chopping and nodding are also supported.
