Harmonic Lightwave to enlarge its manufacturing facility

Fiberoptic laser transmitter and transceiver manufacturer Harmonic Lightwave (Santa Clara, CA) will expand its manufacturing facilities to include an additional 18,000-ft2 facility. The company`s president and CEO Anthony Ley said that the expansion was necessary to kee¥u¥with the volume of orders received this year. Harmonic currently operates in a 5000-ft2 plant, but plans call for a new 18,000-ft2 manufacturing facility.
