Fiber-amplifier controller

Oct. 1, 1995
The FOA-8100 Fiber Amplifier Controller is designed to control the current and temperatures of pum¥diode lasers used in single- or double-pumped erbium-doped fiber amplifiers. Vendor-specific cards allow the system to interface with a variety of commercially available fiber-amplifier modules. Depending on the module used, the controller can measure the diode pum¥power, amplifier output power, or amplifier gain.
