Fiberoptic pressure sensor

Nov. 1, 1995
The PS-100 fiberoptic pressure sensor series measures up to 2500 psi with ۬% accuracy. The sensor is designed for dynamic pressure measurement in gases and liquids, either for use in in-cylinder pressure transducers or for monitoring liquid in pumps. The PS-100 uses a patented Fabry-Perot fiber interferometer. The sensor`s frequency response is as high as 10 kHz, and it can operate at temperatures ranging from -50°C to 300°C.
