Fiberoptic focusing system

The DBL3 is an integral focusing system that enables users to capture and split a laser beam into three separate beams for holography and other applications. Each beam can be launched into a separate optical fiber. The power in each beam can be varied as a percentage of the total power available. Alignment and focus are accomplished via 700:1 mechanical advantage pitch, yaw, and x and yaxis correction knobs. Once aligned, the object and film can be illuminated as soon as fiber clamps are aimed a

Once aligned, the object and film can be illuminated as soon as fiber clamps are aimed and tightened. This focusing system uses highquality singlemode fibers that preserve the temporal and spatial coherence of the input beam. Lasertofilm efficiencies exceed 70% for most holography applications.
