Model 7818 fiberoptic multiplexer, available in either 8-, 16-, 32-, or 64-channel versions, supports synchronous and asynchronous data transmission to connect a large number of terminals, printers, or RS-232 compatible devices across long distances. Data speeds are u¥to 38.4 kbits/s with one control signal in each direction. Each multiplexer is available in both 850- and 1300-nm multimode and 1300-nm single-mode fiber.
