The OFS Series optical fiber switches are designed for use with plastic fiber in potentially explosive environments. The switches require no electricity, explosion-proof enclosures, or energy-limiting barriers. The devices interface with the company`s fiberoptic photoelectric sensors, which are placed in a nonhazardous area. Four groups of switches are available: operator interface switches, heavy-duty limit switches, optomagnetic proximity switches, and optical temperature sensors.
