Adding a fifth business unit to its Global Optical Interconnection Systems (GOIS) group, AM¥Inc. (Harrisburg, PA) has announced the formation of the Optical Fiber Cable division. The new division will manufacture fiberoptic cable for network, OEM, telecommunications, and cable-television applications. The company`s other GOIS divisions include Active Optoelectronic Devices, Passive Products, Fiber Optic Interconnections, and Fiber Management Systems. AM¥reported sales of $5.2 billion during FY1995.
