    The PL-900 fiberoptic light source offers regulation of ۪.5% or better, switchable line voltage (115 or 230 V), and 0% to 100% solid-state intensity control. The lamp is protected by a current limit rather than a time-based soft-start. The lamp is short-circuit protected to eliminate damage due to end-of-life failures of the halogen lamp.
