    An optical transceiver provides serial transmission at 1.0625 Gbit/s over multi mode fiber for distances u¥to 500 m. The Fibre Channel Link transceiver includes an industry-standard 1 ¥ 9-pin configuration and dual SC optical interface. The device meets all CDRH and IEC 825-1 Class 1 eye-safety requirements. The laser also includes an optional shutter mechanism.
