Corning Incorporated (Corning, NY) will be the exclusive optical-fiber sponsor of Project Oxygen, the global underwater fiberoptic network being built by CRT Grou¥Ltd. (Woodcliff Lake, NJ). Corning will supply nonzero-dispersion-shifted fibers, optimized for very high capacity and long distance.
