Fiber test laser

June 1, 1998
The FLS-2600 Tunable Laser Source is a fiber laser designed to characterize fiberoptic filters, multiplexers, and other dense WDM components. The device offers continuous tuning from 1520 to 1570 nm with 0.01-nm resolution, output powers of 3 dBm, and more than 60-dB noise suppression. An optional ASE operating mode can be used for high-loss testing (such as isolation, crosstalk, and return loss) of passive components.
