Toray Industries polymer optical fiber comes in five diameters

Dec. 9, 2020
Raytela polymer optical fiber transmits light at a 79° angle through the core, providing up to 1.8X more light at the distal end.

Raytela polymer optical fiber transmits light at a 79° angle through the core, providing up to 1.8X more light at the distal end and improving outcomes in minimally invasive surgery. It can negotiate 9 mm radius bends and bend back 180° with no intensity loss. It comes in five diameters from 250 to 1500 μm.
