The Nyfors AutoCleaver is a fully automatic, ultra high precision fiber cleaver with a typical cleave angle of less than 0.3°. Designed for industrial applications where high accuracy, reliability and production yield are required, the AutoCleaver has a built-in microprocessor which controls all vital parameters and settings such as fiber positioning, clamping, fiber tension and the exact position and speed of the diamond blade. The cleaver can be connected to an external PC from which all programmable parameters and settings can be accessed.
