New wavelength for the miniTA family

Jan. 8, 2026

There is a new addition to EAGLEYARD’s miniTA series: the miniTA 810 nm is now available. It features a fiber-coupled input, a collimated output beam, and a hermetically sealed butterfly package with enhanced thermal management for long-term stable operation. With up to 2 W of output power, it is ideal for creating stable optical dipole traps (optical tweezers) used in neutral atom experiments and micro-particle manipulation. Frequency doubling enables blue-violet light around 405 nm for spectroscopy and ion trapping, while operation at 813 nm makes it perfectly suited for optical lattices in strontium optical clocks.  The miniTA series is available at 1 W @ 670 nm, 2 W @ 765 nm, 3 W @ 780 nm, 2 W @ 795 nm, 2 W @ 810 nm, 2 W @ 852 nm, 2.5 W @ 895 nm.
