Torrent Photonics manufactures custom aspheric lenses using conventional grind-and-polish processes, delivering high-performance optics for laser, imaging, and metrology applications. Advanced fabrication, polishing, and metrology capabilities achieve surface irregularities below 0.03 µm PV, surface roughness below 0.3 nm RMS, and certifications better than λ/20, depending on geometry. Compared with molded or diamond-turned optics, grind-and-polish techniques provide smoother surfaces, lower scatter, and fewer artifacts. All fabrication, metrology, coating, bonding, and assembly are performed in-house, eliminating subcontracting risk.
