Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a optical signal acquisition and processing method that captures micrometer-resolution, three-dimensional images from within biological tissue. OCT systems are employed in diverse applications, most notably in ophthalmology where it can be used to obtain detailed images from within the retina. Recently it has also begun to be used in interventional cardiology to help diagnose coronary artery disease. As a result it is rapidly growing in popularity.
OZ Optics offers a variety of passive and active components for building OCT systems, and we manufacture integrated optical modules for OCT applications. We produce Superluminescent diode (SLD) light sources and broadband fiber optic components for use with these sources, including at 850nm and 1060nm, the two most popular wavelengths for medical OCT applications.
Refer to the following data sheets for products that are used for OCT Applications. For integrated OCT Modules, contact OZ Optics regarding your requirements.
