Physics School on Quantum Technologies

Aug. 17, 2018

Organized by Jürgen Stuhler and Stephan Ritter from TOPTICA Photonics, the Bad Honnef Physics School on Quantum Technologies took place last week at the conference center “Physikzentrum Bad Honnef”.

About 90 students, 18 lecturers from academia as well as 12 speakers from industry convened to learn and discuss about quantum technologies. The school was a great success, which also showed up in an overbooking of the school with about 50 people on the waiting list, a permanently large lecture attendance during the whole week and intense poster discussions until well after dusk.

We thank the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef for the fantastic local organization, the “Wilhelm und Else Heraeus Stiftung” for financial support, the lecturers and speakers for their commitment and all the participants for their enthusiastic participation.
