Forj Medical Names Leadership Team for Its New Costa Rica Manufacturing Facility
St. Paul, Minn., and Tacares de Grecia, Alajuela, Costa Rica (March 11, 2026) — Forj Medical, a global contract design and manufacturing organization (CDMO) serving the medical technology industry, today announced the appointment of three key leaders for its new advanced manufacturing facility in Costa Rica: Alfredo González Arce as site director, Emilia Garnier as senior HR business partner, and Ronny Orozco as facilities manager. The appointments represent the leadership team that will launch and scale operations at Forj Medical’s 53,000-square-foot facility located in the Evolution Free Zone in Tacares de Grecia. The site will support automated and manual assembly of complex medical devices and components, including products used in surgical navigation, electrophysiology, diabetes, cardiovascular, and drug delivery applications.

As site director, Alfredo González Arce will lead overall operations for Forj Medical Costa Rica, including manufacturing, operational performance, and site development. He brings more than 18 years of experience in medical device manufacturing leadership roles across Costa Rica’s medtech sector. He has led manufacturing operations, facilities, and health, safety, and environmental initiatives. He has a record of doubling operational capacity, implementing scalable organizational structures, and leading site expansion initiatives.
Emilia Garnier, senior HR business partner, will lead the development of Forj Medical’s workforce strategy in Costa Rica, supporting recruitment, talent development, employee engagement, and organizational culture as the facility grows. She brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience in multinational organizations across multiple industries, with a focus on Latin America and the Caribbean.
Ronny Orozco, facilities manager, will oversee the infrastructure and engineering systems supporting Forj Medical Costa Rica, including cleanroom environments, utilities, maintenance operations, and facility expansion projects. Orozco is an industrial engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the medical device and electronics industries, specializing in facilities management, equipment installations, and operational reliability in regulated manufacturing environments.
Forj Medical’s Costa Rica facility is the company’s newest global site and its production capabilities include coil winding, cable assembly, and precision device assembly. The site will play a key role in Forj Medical’s global manufacturing network, complementing its operations in the United States and Asia.
