The PR No2 IR pyroelectric receiver is designed for longwave-infrared (LWIR) with a potassium bromide (KBr) window, while the PR No2 THz version is designed for terahertz detection with an HDPE window. They are suited for Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS), IR fiber lasers, and supercontinuum applications.
