The HNü 128 electron-multiplying CCD (EMCCD) camera has an adaptive optics option with cooling optimized for rugged use in a non-vacuum package. The 128 × 128 pixel scientific-grade detector operates from 500 to 1000 frames/s at full frame. It is cooled to -60°C with a precision of ±0.01°C at maximum readout of 20 MHz.
