A 10-Gbit/s avalanche and PIN photodiode with transimpedance amplifier optical receivers has optical sensitivity up to ±27 dBm, a dynamic range >20 dB, bandwidth >8 GHz, and high transimpedance gain, and comes in either a single-ended or coplanar package.
