The Imaging Photon Camera single-photon counter has micrometer resolution, picosecond timing, a full 18-mm-wide field of view, and a count rate as high as 5 MHz with no added read noise. Designed for use in fast imaging under light-starved conditions, the counter combines microchannel plate detector technologies and fast electronics.
