Natick, MA, August 16, 2002 -- The MathWorks has announced its upcoming series of Advanced Image Processing Seminars located across the country for professionals performing image processing and analysis.

Natick, MA, August 16, 2002 -- The MathWorks has announced its upcoming series of Advanced Image Processing Seminars located across the country for professionals performing image processing and analysis. The seminars will include examples and demonstrations related to the development of image
processing applications for various industries, including communication, multimedia, semiconductor, aerospace and defense.

In each seminar, presenters will demonstrate image processing techniques, such as binary and grayscale morphological methods for multidimensional image processing and image preprocessing, enhancement and analysis. In addition, each seminar will highlight features and functionality from the MATLAB Image Processing Toolbox, which provides an extensive collection of digital image processing and analysis algorithms that extends the power of the MATLAB environment.
