March 31, 2005, Fairfield, NJ--Electrophysics has introduced an advanced modular night vision system, the AstroScope 9350, which incorporates a state-of-the-art image intensifier that transforms dark scenes, below 0.0001 lux, into bright, high-resolution images. The AstroScope is easy to install and converts many cameras and camcorders into an image capture system that produces high quality imagery in near total darkness and requires essentially no additional training in order to operate, even in the dark.

AstroScope incorporates a Gen III image intensifier into an advanced interchangeable module and features a custom relay optic, which generates sharp, edge-to-edge image detail without the vignetting normally associated with night vision photography, making it the highest performing system available for night vision photography or videography. Electrophysics also offers a wide range of intensifier performance levels and camera specific adapters and brackets that allow users to customize the AstroScope that fit their individual camera models.

One of the AstroScope 9350's most unique features is its extremely user friendly design and ability to interface with a number of cameras, including the Nikon AF-Type and Canon EOS-type SLR cameras, as well as the Canon XL-2 camcorder. The AstroScope set up is simple, and can be installed in under 10 seconds.
