Photomultiplier tube

Aug. 1, 1995
The R5916U microchannel-plate photomultiplier tube has a fast gating function that makes it suitable for satellite laser ranging, lidar, and fluorescence decay analysis. Spectral response ranges from 160 to 850 nm, and the photocathode effective area is 10 mm in diameter. The gate`s risetime is 1 ns, and the gate stays open for 5 ns.
