A miniature black-and-white charge-coupled-device (CCD) camera for machine-vision applications features a 3.7-mm pinhole lens. The camera is built onto a breadboard assembly and wired for 9-Vdc input and video output with an automatic electronic shutter. The field of view is 45° ¥ 60° with 32 ¥ 32-mm dimensions. Resolution is 380 ¥ 350 TV lines.
