Multistage TECs
Multistage thermoelectric coolers offer low-current operation and a small size. The coolers, including single-stage models, range in size from 1.8 ¥ 3.4 mm to 12.3 ¥ 14.4 mm, and maximum current ratings run from 800 mA to 2.0 A. Maximum temperature differentials can be from 67°C to 83°C. Possible uses are CCD cameras, laser diodes, IR detectors, thermal imaging, and spectrophotometry.
