High-speed photodetector

April 1, 1995
The ETX100RSC high-speed photodetector uses a 100-µm InGaAs PIN photodiode mounted in a SC connector receptacle module. Typical responsivity is 0.75 amp/W at 1300 nm and capacitance of 1 pF, with a 1.5-GH¥bandwidth in a coaxial packaged unit. Applications include digital fiberoptic receivers operating to 622 Mbits/s and high-volume fiber-in-the-loo¥receivers.
