Line-scan camera

July 1, 1995
A CCD camera that scans up to 61,200 lines/s and a fast data link combine to form the OPSIS 1000L CCD camera.

A CCD camera that scans up to 61,200 lines/s and a fast data link combine to form the OPSIS 1000L CCD camera, useful for industrial applications including process measurement, character recognition, and assembly verification. The camera offers an adjustable resolution of up to 5150 pixels. Data are digitized to 8 bits per pixel and transmitted using a 330 Mbit/s point-to-point communications link, which can transmit to distances of more than 300 ft.
