The BVS-1 Beam Viewing System allows beam-profile analysis of electron, ion, and neutral beams as well as x-rays and UV beams. The active area is 19 mm in diameter. The image is formed using a microchannel plate and phosphor screen. The system is suitable for high-vacuum applications.
