Multitransputer module

Multiple Instruction, Multiple Data (MIMD) architecture for vision applications is possible using multitransputer modules (MTM). Videorate motion analysis (labeling) and highvolume inspection tasks demand parallel processing at variable performance levels that MTM provides MIMD. U¥to nine T805 Inmos transputers can be connected in an MTM, each having 512 kbytes image memory and 1Mbyte program random access memory.
