A 480 ¥ 4 longwavelength infrared chargecoupleddevice (CCD) detector array and Dewar assembly is sensitive to radiation in the 7.7 to 10.5µm spectral region. Photovoltaic detector elements are made of mercury cadmium telluride. The silicon processor includes timedelayandintegration multiplexing, antiblooming, skimming, and partitioning functions. Typical 293K blackbody peak detectivity is higher than 2 ¥ 1011 (Hz1/2)cm/W.
