Stand-alone frame grabber

A stand-alone frame grabber can be used to control charge accumulation in integrating cameras. The OEI Model 295 is a programmable RGB controller for accumulating field or frame-integrating cameras. With an integrating camera, the equipment monitors and controls CCD camera integration time, allowing color low-light imaging. A 512 × 512 × 8 frame buffer can also freeze and noise-reduce any RS-170-compatible video signal and sums the average of the current frame with the previously stored frame in a continuous seven-frame sequence, reducing random noise.
