Charge neutralizer

March 1, 1997
The photoionizer neutralizes electrostatic chargers on semiconductors, integrated circuits, and liquid-crystal displays. The Model L6107 photoionizer incorporates a soft x-ray tube that floods an object with photon-generating ions. By irradiating the air around an object, enough photons are produced to neutralize the electrostatic charges on the object. The x-ray tube operates at 9.5 kV and 200 µA and has a 120° coverage angle.
