    Gerber Systems Corp. (South Windsor, CT) and Agfa (Ridgefield Park, NJ) have formed a partnershi¥to develo¥and market infrared imaging technology to the printed- circuit industry. The goal of the joint agreement is to optimize direct-write film media and laser imaging technology by maximizing image quality, minimizing postprocessing steps, improving media handling, and upgrading media availability. Agfa is offering its Mastertool MT8 material for scratch-resistant and dimensionally stable, first-generation phototools.
