Two imaging sensors for full-frame and frame-transfer applications have 1k ¥ 1k arrays with 13-µm2 pixels. The CCD47 is intended for scientific applications that require low readout noise. Typical performance is less than 3 electrons rms at 50 kH¥and less than 7 electrons at 1 MHz. The sensor is available as a frame-transfer and full-frame version in front- or back-illuminated form. The CCD48 is a fast-frame front-illuminated sensor that includes antiblooming structures.
