Fast detectors

The Series 99 amplified photodetector modules are designed for capturing fast transient light signals. The dc-coupled modules have a flat response from dc to more than 7 GH¥with usable responsivity to 10 GHz. The modules are powered by internal batteries and are roughly the size of BNC terminators. Options include variable gain, ac-coupling, true dc coupling, dc offset null, and a range of both electronic connector types and input optical-fiber types. The InGaAs version covers the spectrum f
